Teaching Practice Phase 1- Week 2

TEACHING PRACTICE- WEEK 2

Week2 (14-11-2022 to 19-11 -2022)

We the teacher trainees reached Govt HS yeroor, before 9:15 am everyday and signed our register, and then we stayed in our alloted classroom. 

The first day in this week started with a substitution in 6E standard.ln that period l conduct a quiz about World Population Day. Then again l had substitution class on 6C standard. In third period, I went to 8.C and completed a lesson plan. After the lunch break l got substitution in UP and HS section. 

In second day started with morning prayer.I went to 8C and taught a new topic. There was a strike and class ended at 10:45 am. We have some duties for preparation of sub district youth festival.We left the school at 3pm

In third day l got substitution in 5C and 7B standards then l conduct some activities by students and reading textbook by students. I completed my lesson plan no. 8 on 8C , and gave them homework. Then we got free time we did the work to be done. That was a wonderful day.

In fourth day, started with morning assembly then l got opportunity to take class on 7th and 6th standards in first and second periods respectively. I taught the 7th standard a new chapter named "Making a Mango Pickle" by Satyajit Ray. Third period, I went to 9C and completed next lesson plan too. Me along with Harsha and Nandha went to serve meal for the students at 12:45pm.Then after the lunch break again l got a opportunity to engage with 10th standard students during their IT period. This week gave an awesome experience and also productive one.

In fifth day, started with morning assembly. First period was free. Second period I went to 8E and asked about their homework and completed a lesson plan. I discussed textbook questions with them. That was very productive day.
