Teaching Practice Phase 1- Week 8

Week 8

We all reached Govt HSS yeroor before 9:30 am everyday then signed our register, and we stayed in our alloted classroom. 

In the first day of the third week,l got an opportunity to take substitution in 6th standard then l conduct some activities by students and reading text book and doing some grammar activities . In third period, I discussed textbook activities and questions in 8.E from the chapter 'Identities'. I almost completed the chapter. Then after the lunch break l got opportunity to watch peer observation class  in 8th standard taken by Raji Raju. During the afternoon session I went for peer observation of Greeshma. 

Second day started with morning prayer. Second period I got a substitution in 5B. In third period, I cleared the doubts if the students from the chapter and I taught them Tpyes of Sentences. Then we have duty to serve lunch. After the break, we got a duty to copy school time table to a chart. Then l got opportunity to watch peer observation class by Sinu Sam in 8 th standard. It was very productive day.

Third day started with morning prayer. I got first period as free and I done my records. I got a substitution in 6E during the second hour. I engaged in 8.E during third hour and discussed textbook problems.. Today there was only classes till at 11.45 pm due to the KSU educational strike. But we left the school only at 3:45 pm.

Fourth day started with morning prayer. As usual Seena teacher and Praseetha teacher send substitution list in our WhatsApp group and all of us engaged with it. I started new topic in 8.E during my first period. Then we have duty to serve lunch. Then l got opportunity to watch peer observation class by Afreen Jasi in 9 th standard. It was very beautiful day.

Fifth day started with morning prayer. Today we have only a few substitution period and we all dealt with our works. I completed the chapter'Identities' in 8.E. After the lunch break, I got substitution in 9D and conducted a quiz related to moon. Then I helped another teacher trainee in IT lab. Then we got free time we done works.This week gave us an awesome experience and also productive.
