Teaching practice phase 2 - Week 2
WEEK. 2
June 19 to June 23Monday to Friday
In the first day we reached on time. It was national reading day. So there was a morning assembly. There were several competition held on this day. Especially Poster preperation. Ten posters were collected from each class. Finally those posters were hanged on the walls . I have my class on third period. I taught a new topic one angle and two sides.I used chart models and activity card to explain the concept. Pupil responded well.
In the second day i have class on second period. I did some problems related to the section two angle and a side . Most of the students did those problems very well. Some students found difficult in solving . So i explain the concept with the same models. I thought they understood that concept very well. Later i have substitution period on IX C and IX B.
In the third day there was a morning assembly. It was international yoga day. So some basic yoga steps were practiced. We demonstrated tge pranayama step by step. The students imitate those steps.After the assembly i have class on fourth period at VIII C. I did the remaining problem as inquiry model. Initially i displayed a chart with the problem. Students asked me yes or no questions. Finally they solved the problem. It was very interesting.
In the fourth day i have class on fourth period. I started a new topic Two angles and a side. For that i used charts , models and activity card. Student responsded well. As part of formative evaluation i asked some questions . Student gave proper answers.
In the fifth day as usual we reached on time. I have class on sixth period. I taught tge section isosceles triangles using ict. In the last fifteen minutes i conducted tge diagnostic test.
